1,000 Books Before Kindergarten is an initiative that many libraries partake in throughout our state. This program is open to all children ages infant through five years old, and it will aid your children in developing reading skills for future success in school. The program runs all year long every year. There is a reading log to complete and prizes for every 100 books that you read with your child. Ask us for a reading log to get you started.
Your child will also be able to add a pumpkin to our fall themed picture, given to us by the high school art students in Chetek, whenever they reach a 100 book milestone. The picture changes each season. For more information about this program click here.
