The Calhoun Memorial Library will host Blue Hills Genealogical Society-Barron County president, Gloria Dobberfuhl on Tuesday, May 10 at noon.

Dobberfuhl will explain the purpose of the Blue Hills Genealogical Society and how it can help people explore their ancestry. She will also use the website Family Search to illustrate tips and tricks for using the database to research family history.

No laptop or tablet? No worries!! Watch the presentation, then use library computers to start your research.

It is suggested that you bring your own laptop computer, tablet or phone to follow along using your own family information.

Creating an account before attending is recommended but not necessary as the entire presentation can be viewed on the library’s large screen television.

If you do create an account remember to write your user name and password down and bring this info to the presentation.

Bring your lunch and munch while you listen. The library will supply packaged snacks and bottled water.
